Neelakantha Meditation, as Taught in Blue Throat Yoga:

Where Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Life

Neelakantha Meditation is an easy, simple and effective practice of deep meditation.  Grounded in ancient tradition and the knowledge of great masters of consciousness, it is a practical modern practice, which provides life-enhancing benefits for all. It requires no skill or talent to learn and practice and it is accessible to everyone regardless of age, ethnic origin, culture or belief.

The benefits of this practice accumulate over time, from the daily regularity of practice. They include, but are not limited to:

• Improved focus, clarity, and potential

• Freedom from anxiety and stress

• Heightened creativity

• Greater resilience in difficult moments

How can I learn to Meditate

Neelakantha meditation is a simple yet profound practice that is easy to learn. You receive a mantra during a time of formal personal instruction, or diksha in sanskrit. The mantra is an effective and powerful tool that when repeated inside, turns your attention inward, allowing access to a place of wholeness and healing.

Ongoing Support

We connect about two weeks after formal instruction to discuss how things are going and answer any lingering questions.

Because establishing a practice in one's daily life can present numerous challenges, support, guidance and the possibility for deeper learning continues to be available for you after you have received formal individual instruction.

The Process of Learning

Day 1: We meet in-person or on-line. You receive the mantra and formal instruction of how to do the practice, along with an introduction to the theory of the practice- the how and why it works. (about 2 hours.)

Day 2: We meet again, answer questions, and dive more into the theory of this ancient and effective practice. The knowledge and experience go hand in hand. (about 2 hours)
